dark matters festival

the uncertain dark is invisible and unimaginable, however, seems to be incredibly vast. only 5 % of the matter in our universe is tangible, 95% is just dark.

the dark matters festival took place in mainz in summer 2017. in cooperation with the staatstheater mainz, the organizers questioned the very complex mystery of the dark matter. they searched for the big unknown in the underground and aerial networks of the city mainz, and invited festival goers to be part of the scientific and interactive expedition.

we conceptualized the visual identity and the website for the festival.
